||I attend New York University School of Law, where I served as Co-President of Law Women and am an Executive Editor of the Journal of Legislation and Public Policy. I graduated cum laude from Harvard in 2007, with a concentration in psychology and a certificate in global health and health policy. During my 1L summer, I worked in the Refugee Status Determination unit for Syrian refugees at UNHCR in Amman, Jordan. Prior to law school, I worked in foreign affairs and human rights as a fellow for U.S. Senator Edward Markey of Massachusetts, in health law as Special Assistant to a former U.S. Assistant Surgeon General, and in emergency medicine research and direct patient care at a leading psychiatric hospital. I also spent several years "off" teaching and performing modern dance.
